Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire
I know it hasn’t exactly cooled off yet, but Autumn is just around the corner and that means two things: Bauman’s apple cider and the PA Ren Faire!! The only question is.. Which weekend do we visit on?
- Oktoberfest - featuring the Bar Triathalon (pub games), Ode to Ale (toasting and roasting contest), and the Bar Keep Contest (pouring and trash talking put to the test)
- Wine Harvest - featuring the Grape Stomp Competition, Dizzy Grape Toss Challenge, and most importantly.. the Annual Mount Hope Winery 25% Off Case Wine Sale
- Halloween Daze & Spooky Knights - featuring Bobbin’ for Apples, the Adult Costume Contest, and generally all-around freaky attendees
..Sorry, I know I’m a Ren Faire freak, but the Maryland Faire just doesn’t do it for me. But Lebanon, PA is only less than 3 hours away!!
I vote for Oktoberfest myself, but I’ll be happy with any! Oh, btw. I’m coming with you.
